Self-assessment paper form not received from HMRC (living abroad)

Hello, I live abroad and every year HMRC send me a paper form to fill in and send back to the UK via post. I have not received the form until September and then I moved to another country. I updated my address in my profile but still did not receive the paper form. The deadline for overseas and paper forms is 31 October so I have a month left. I tried to contact HMRC via the chat but it did not work. I live in Asia so calling HMRC is not an option. How can I get the paper form and also avoid getting penalised for sending it late as it was not posted to me on time? Thanks Kasia

I can confirm that the SA100 on GOV.UK is available to download.

Although the form can be downloaded, we ask customers to call our dedicated order line on 0300 200 3610 to request a copy so we can offer them extra support to file online if they are able to.

Customers who live abroad and who want to file their tax return online can use commercial software.

The paper filing deadline is 31 October 2024. Customers who file online have until 31 January 2025.
