Hi, Where can I find the self assessment tax returns I have filed in the previous years? The actual full online forms filled in and submitted for year 2021/2022. Thank you!

Hi,

You can view or print your tax returns through your Personal Tax Account, by selecting 'Self Assessment' within the Self Assessment tile, then clicking on 'More details about your Self Assessment returns and payments'.

Then, select 'View your tax year overview', before selecting the tax year you want to view on the tax year drop down, and clicking 'go'.

Thank you.

Hi, I have followed this thread, but seem to only be able to access a one page 'tax year overview'. Can I access the full submitted self-assessment form?

Hi joanne,
Depending on the year of the return, and how it was submitted, you may be able to access a previously filed return.
Log into your Personal Tax Account, then select Self Assessment within the Self Assessment tile; select the 'More details about your Self Assessment returns and payments, then ‘View your tax year overview’.
Select the View Return, then select  View / print / store your return onto your local drive.
If you cannot view your return following this method, contact us by webchat or post here:

Hi, I have misplaced my Self Assessment tax returns for 2013/14, 2014/15 and 2015/16, which I submitted through commercial software. Will HMRC be able to provide me a copy of these for my records if I write to you? Would these old submissions have been retained by HMRC? Thank you.
