I arrived to the UK on October 2022, and I started a 6 month contract job remotely with a company in Thailand on November 2022. The contract is subject to renewal. When do I have to pay tax ? Should I wait untill I have been working for a year to pay for that full year ? And If I didnt renew the contract, does the tax I need to pay reset after a year of not meeting the minimum annual income ? (sorry if any of these questions sound a bit dumb, we dont usually have to deal with income tax where im originally from all of this is new to me)

Hi HassanKH,
As this falls within the 2022/23 tax year, the due date for payment was 31/1/24, see guidance at Tax on foreign income.
Thank you.
