Hi. Filling out my tax return online, specifically the section for pensions. I don't receie a state pension (not old enough!), but do receive a monthly pension amount form the Pension Protection Fund, in lieu of an old employers scheme that went belly up. Anyway, when filling out the return, the form doesn't allow me to enter zero on the state pension income box. Any suggestions on how to bypass this, please?

If a question doesn't apply to you the answer should be left blank. There's no need to enter a zero. Just put your PPF data in the box for private pensions.

Hi cathyk

If you are not old enough to receive the state pension then you do not need to enter a figure in the state pension box.
If you are still having issues then you can contact HMRC for assistance Self Assessment: general enquiries

Thank you
