Hello, I'm filling out my self-assessment tax return. I live in the UK (Northern Ireland) and work for an Irish company. My income is taxed in Ireland via PAYE with Irish Revenue. I do not have any other employment. I have filled out the foreign income section with total income and tax paid. The first part of the form asked if you are employed, and all the details are for the UK tax system. As I have no UK employment, do I say I am NOT employed? Thanks for you help.

Hi,
You will also need to show the income under a UK employment page, this allows the income to be included in the calculation.
You only show the income as the tax will be claimed as foreign tax credit relief.
Thank you.
