Hi, I am employed by a UK company which the income tax and NI are deducted from my salary automatically every month. Meanwhile, I am also employed by a Hong Kong company (second employment), which I’m going to file it in the self assessment. May I know for this second employment, is it all the tax and NI contribution will be calculated after I have filed the self assessment tax return? Thank you.

Hi clement8,
You will declare the income from Hong Kong as self employment on the return and the calculation will show the additional tax and NI that is due.
Thank you.
