When to expect tax refund

I have UK property rental income as a non resident landlord and submitted a self assessment tax return for 2021-2022. I was asked to pay the relevant tax which I did. However I was not liable for the tax as I am a British citizen, and I subsequently submitted a R43 form together with evidence in June 2023 to claim personal allowance and tax refund. When should I expect to hear back about the refund?
