I have a client who moved to the UK in 2022 and will be treated as UK resident fo the whole of 2022/23. He is a dutch national in receipt of dutch pensions but he has been living in Spain for a number of years. He was still registered as a Spanish tax resident for 2022 and paid tax there on his dutch pensions. Is there any way he can claim tax relief here for the spanish tax paid on his dutch pensions?
