Child benefit, child tax credit, tax credit,sure start maternity grant - what's the difference?

Hi! I am expecting my first child and I am confused if I can apply to any of the benefits/tax credits available out there - i.e. Child benefit, Child tax credit, tax credit for childcare, sure start maternity grant, etc. I am currently employed, working 37h/week with a net income just above £50k.
