Tax Credit - Update estimated earnings

I want to update my estimated earnings. When I did this in a previous year within the figure I included a benefits in kind. When I received the paperwork the benefits in kind was included a 2nd time as an individual item. I had to ring up and get this removed. Can you confirm whether the figure I enter should include the benefits in kind? There is no field where I can enter the benefits in kind as a separate item.

Benefits in kind should be included.
If you call the Tax Credits helpline BIK can be recorded on NTC as there is a separate field to record them.

Thank you for your reply. As you know it is difficult to get through on the helpline, I waited a hour yesterday after I finished work and still did not get through. Just to confirm I already have a benefits in kind of £459 (Health cover) recorded on my tax credit as it showed on my last letter from you, This has not changed, so I assume it will be included automatically. That being the case I assume that the figure I should include on my income via the online system should exclude the BIK figure. If I include it will I be in the same position as I was in a previous year and have to contact the helpline, which is difficult as I am at work during the day. I am hoping that as the BIK was included on my last letter from you that it would be included without me having to include as income. As you can see the only reason I want to get confirmation, is to try not to ring the helpline.

Good Morning, As you answered my initial question so promptly, I was wondering if you are now expecting me to ring the helpline or whether you are awaiting further information from within the department. Apologies if I am jumping the gun, I just want to make sure my record is up to date.

Benefits in kind will normally be carried forward each year.
This will be confirmed on the renewal notice.
Therefore do not include the benefits in kind in your income.
