Getting a pension or tax refund / retiring

Hi there, I'm not sure where to post this topic so I have 2 questions. My father is Portuguese, he worked here in the UK over 15 years ago from October 2005 to June 2008. I have Settled Status and I've been here since 2012. Is he able to join me here in the UK to retire? He is 60yrs old and will retire earlier due to health issues. He currently has no job and is struggling financially and mentally by himself with no support in Portugal. Would he be able to come back by applying for Pre Settled Status? Also, is he able to get any money back from his previous tax and nic ? Or pension? What are his options? Many thanks

With regards to National Insurence and Tax is not possible to check individual records through this forum may I ask that you call our National Insurance Helpline on 0300 200 3500 (from the UK) or +44 191 203 7010 (from overseas) and they will be able to check your National Insurance account.
