VAT group

We applied for VAT group on 22nd July 2023. We wish to stay in group but degroup from 3rd August 2023. Our grouping application is pending with HMRC, can we file degrouping applicaiton now? Will HMRC review both of them and accept both of them? Or it will create a problem?
