I have vacated my previous registered primary place of business, and HMRC mail cannot be delivered there. There was a mail redirect in place, but it has now expired. I am actually working outside of the UK for next several months, but the company still needs to submit quaterly VAT returns. and I need an address in the UK. Can I use my company's Registered Office (my accountants office) as my temporary address for HMRC VAT purposes while I am outside of the UK? Or should I use the address where I will be working from, in Spain? Or should I set up a new mailing address and have mail forwarded to me? I dont want mail to go unanswered.

Hi.
The address we would normally need for the business is the principal Place of Business and where the day to day running of the business takes place.
There are certain exceptions to this where this can't be provided
Please see guidance at: VATREG03550 - Registration - general: principal place of business (PPOB) - HMRC internal manual
Thank you
