VAT Number on Supplier Invoices

Hi, We have a policy in house that requires suppliers to provide our VAT number on invoices. Can we enforce this? Is there any legal requirement that the supplier must include our VAT number when sending us invoices? Thanks

There is no requirement to include the customers VAT number on a VAT invoice.
