RE: 24/25 Coding Notice
Hi
The tax codes for the next tax year, for this case 24/25, are not issued until the end of Janaury so you will need to wait a few weeks to see this.

RE: Paying taxes for Ukrainians
Hi
As you are resident in the UK, the UK has first rights to tax your world-wide income.
You will need to submit a self assessment tax return, delcaring your foreign income.
You will need to request a certificate of residence, to send to the Portuguese tax authorities, to ensure that they do not tax from your Portuguese earnings, as they are not taxable in Portugal, since you are working remotely from the UK (How to apply for a certificate of residence to claim tax relief abroad).

RE: foreign income
Hi KFLO
Payments to any mortgage do not qualify for tax relief.
If the mortgage is for a property that is rented out, then the interest paid on the mortgage can be claimed for under residential property finance costs (box 24.1) on page F5 of SA106.
Please see Foreign (2023)

RE: Adjusted net income for high income child benefit charge
Hi
If the pension contributions are deducted from your salary before tax is calculated, then you would not deduct again as already taken into account on your P60 figure. If above £50,000 then a Self Assessment would be due for higher income child benefit charge.

RE: Capital Gains on Self Assessment form

Yes, you are required to declare the gain again in your 2023 self assessment tax return.
You will get credit for the tax already paid by entering the relevant amounts in the boxes 'Total gains or losses on UK residential property reported on Capital Gains Tax UK Property
Disposal returns' and 'Tax on gains already charged'. Please see Capital Gains Summary notes

RE: Dividends from Mutual Funds which are reinvested as units of the fund
Hi Kevin
Yes it does. For previous years you would need to submit a claim in writing and say that you are claiming overpayment relief. The earlier year that can be reviewed is the 19/20 tax year.

RE: Underpaid tax for previous years is being paid through a tax code for this yearby a change
Hi
You can pay this through your personal tax account and once done, your code will be updated. It shows as nil at the moment due to it being coded.
