I have the following issue: We are checking this year to see if it counts towards your pension. We'll update your record when this is finished, you do not need to do anything. This appears on 2 or 3 years of my NI records - I followed up years ago on this and yet my records still state the same. I have 32 full years and because some years still say they’re checking after 10 years of waiting, my contributions are short by 3 years. What else can I do?
