I have 2 separate employments. Both are just under the class 1 threshold so I have no credits towards my state pension. If I write to the NI office and ask them to amalgamate both of them together, are they able to obtain a credit for me? It seems very infair that I woud have to pay over £800 for a year's credit whereas someone earning less than me but from 1 job, would get credits at zero cost.
