  • RE: Error in personal details with HMRC

    Hello, My date of birth is also incorrect on HMRC. I sent a letter to the correct address with a certified copy of my passport etc 2 weeks ago now and the tracking reference still says delivery has not been attempted. Is this because the PT Operations address is a PO box and there is no physical address with someone there to sign for mail? Hoping my letter has reached HMRC and that it is currently waiting to be processed, as it includes a lot of personal info. I tried to chat to someone on your webchat to ask if my letter was received, as advised above by 'HMRC Admin 25', but it tells me there are no advisors available to discuss my query. If I phone up, will someone be able to confirm if my letter was received? I don't want to spend another 30 minutes+ on hold on the phone if this is not possible. Thanks.
