Hi, thank you for your help, it is very much appreciated however, I have to ask you to excuse my lack of understanding and ask for further clarification on the following: Are you saying that I include payments I have received from my pension, to my trading income for my overall income total? And, there is nowhere on the self assessment for me to record the tax I’ve already paid on the pension payments I received. Surely I would be paying tax twice on the pension payments given that they’ve already been taxed at source. I’m so confused.🫤

Hi, I’m trying to figure out if and how I record income from monthly private pension payments on my self assessment tax return when the payments have already been taxed at source. The form asks if I am in receipt of income from a private pension but does not ask how much I receive or if I’ve already paid the tax. I’m confused.
