Hi, my wife and I have the same query, how long does it normally take for tax relief to be credited to a SIPP account? She paid a lump sum into her 's on 28/3/24 and I into mine on 10/4/24. Neither account has been credited. When I opened mine last year tax relief appeared after about 2 weeks. Is it because this time of year is especially busy so takes longer? Regards Purange

Hi all, my only income is via a direct benefit(final salary) pension , can I pay more than £2880 per year into a SIPP and get the tax back. Most of the information I've found around this question relates to being either in or out of work or a tax payer or not. Whereas I'm not working but still paying tax on my pension. So is £2880 the limit? Regards.
