Hello, I am foreinger and lived and worked in UE country until end of April. I moved to UK in May, I am self-employed since June . I paid quite high NI (Class II and Class IV) from June to April. But I was informed that despite the fact that I paid them for 10 months this year is not full. Can I pay voluntarily for the missing 2 months (but until the end of April I lived and worked abroad)? If no, does all money paid for NI contirbutions for these months is lost as they won't count for my state pension? I'm 39 so every full year is important to me.
