SA102 and Income tax refund
Hi team, I am claiming remittance basis and I am filling in the SA102 for my UK employment income for tax year 22/23. I have 3 employment during the year and so I fill in taxable income and PAYE paid individually. Back in June 2023, I received a £600 income tax refund from HMRC for overpaid PAYE. Is there any box in SA102 that I need to fill in this information? Or HMRC will make adjustment on this refund amount and calculate my balance payment automically? Thanks. Regards, Do I need to include this information anywhere in SA102 -
Income tax refund received for tax year 2022/23
Hi team, I have filed my self assessment for tax year 2022/23 and I am claiming remittance basis. I received some tax refund back in June 2023 for overpaid income tax. In my governemnt gatewary, it seems HMRC has not adjusted for the amount of tax refund, and has undercalculated my tax liablity. How should I tell HMRC about that? Thanks. Regards,

RE: Claiming remittance basis and the loss of personal allowance
Thanks for that. My liability will be less than £3,000, as I am basic rate payer, so additional tax is 20% * £12,570 = £2,514. How can I opt to get that collected by changing my tax code? As I am paying PAYE monthly. Thanks. Regards, -
Claiming remittance basis and the loss of personal allowance
Hi, I am UK resident but not UK domiciled for tax year 22/23. I am claiming remittance basis as my foreign income was unremitted, so I won't be entitlied to personal allowance for income tax. I have full time employment in UK during tax year 22/23 and I have been paying income tax via PAYE. As the tax code on my payslip has assumed I have a a £12,570 personal allowance. After I have submitted the self assessment for tax year 22/23, how will HMRC contact me to collect the underpaid income tax? And what is the due date of those underpaid income tax? Regards, Kelvin -
Claiming Remittance Basis for Non-UK domiciled resident
Hi, I am UK resident and non-UK domiciled for tax year 22/23. I have foreign income and capital which were all unremitted. I would like to claim remittance basis. Should I fill in the income and gain only using SA109? Or do I also need to fill SA106 (Foreign income) and SA108 (Capital gain) as well? Thanks. Regardss, Kelvin -
