  • Tax relief on SIPP contribution 2023/24

Dear HMRC, My gross pay for tax year 2023/24 is £100840.08 and I paid £1000 to the private SIPP account (SIPP provider already claimed tax relief of £250 Tax statement) which makes my total adjusted net income £99,590.08. However HMRC tax statement doesn't reflect the SIPP pension contribution yet, do I need to do self assessment to inform HMRC of this SIPP contribution and also claim tax relief. Please advise if self assessment is required, if so can I do by contact HMRC via phone.
