  • A Benefits in kind question

Afternoon HMRC team, I've got "Tax calculation for the year 6 April 2023 to 5 April 2024" email this morning and have a question please. It reads that "HMRC owes" me a certain amount of money because I've paid more tax than I should. However, below there is a note saying "Benefits in kind: You only paid tax on £0.00 of your benefits in kind, but you should have paid tax on the actual amount of £XXX.XX. Does it mean I should pay you this tax? Could you please clarify it for me? Thank you in advance. Kind regards, Phil.
