RE: Income Tax Losses - cannot change
Many, many thanks. Stupid of me, my first submission had the figures entered in the capital gains section, but in the amendment I got it in to my head to create an income tax losses section. Now that you've alerted me to my mistake, my amendment is working fine.

RE: Income Tax Losses - cannot change
Many thanks for this. When I entered an entry for tax losses I did not intend it to be hidden and not used. How can I make the system use my entry please? -
Income Tax Losses - cannot change
I have submitted my 2024 return and am in the process of preparing an amendment. There are two new figures which work fine. I also amend the figure for income tax losses. This provokes a red warning - check this figure etc. I click save and continue. However, the new figure does not feature in the calculation. So, in effect, I cannot change the first number submitted. -
Repayment Pending
I now have a repayment pending for three months. Is this normal these days? -
RE: Credit Transfer Out
Thank you -
Credit Transfer Out
In May 2023 I submitted my return for the 2023 tax-year which showed a substantial overpayment. This shows as a “Credit Transfer Out on August 7th “. I have tried Requesting a Repayment, but I’m told: "Your Self Assessment records show you have no amounts available for repayment." How do I get round this and claim my repayment as normal please? -
Repayment Pending
It's over three months that I have had to wait while "security checks" are carried out. I've been subject to security checks in the past (and passed with flying colours), but that was done by mail. There's something wrong here. Security checks can be spun out indefinitely. HMRC should pay, and if they do find something, they can charge us.
