  • RE: Tailor error Warning

I think I have discovered a part answer to this. As mentioned, I am fully retired but I do part-time unpaid voluntary work. I receive reimbursement of mileage and other expenses. The voluntary organisation for which I work is shown on my on-line SA as my 'employer'. I am not an employee. I am an unpaid voluntary worker. As per the previous enquirer, I have been answering 'No' to being employed or a director, etc. I now find that if I answer 'Yes' to this question I avoid the error message: "3. Tailor your return Tailor error Warning You cannot remove a section from within '3. Tailor your return'.Please use the 'Delete' link from within the section you wish to remove. The 'Delete' link can be found in the bottom right hand corner of the page." I proceed to page 2 and get questions about my income and expenses, etc from this 'employer' (which of course are largely irrelevant). I now also see the red 'delete' message. I haven't done this yet but I guess that if I delete the page of my so-called 'employer' I will be able to proceed. I am not entirely happy about doing this but if anyone has any advice, that would be appreciated. With thanks.

I have exactly the same problem with error message reported after completing page 1 of 'Tailor my return'. I entered 'No' to being employed (as I'm fully retired with no secondary employment). I have never had this issue in previous years.
