RE How to report my Interest earned to HMRC
Hi,
As your untaxed savings income is below £10000 you do not need to submit a Self Assessment tax return.
At the tax year end the banks and building societies will submit the untaxed savings details to HMRC. Once received, your record will be reviewed and a calculation will be issued with any underpayment due.

Hi,
If you submitted the Self Assessment yourself online then you can view it by logging into your HMRC online account, then select next to continue past the security message displayed. Select the 'Self Assessment' tile on the tax account homepage. Select 'View and manage your Self Assessment tax return'. Select ‘view more previous years Self Assessment’. Select relevant tax year. Select ‘View Return’. Select ‘View/print/save your return’.

The savings allowance will be taken into account in the calculation. If you need to query the calculation then you will need to contact us as we would need to access your record.
