Your savings income is part of your taxable income so will be included in the adjusted net income to calculate the income used in the High Income Child Benefit Charge. You can see guidance here:

RE: My tax credit payment has not gone in.
Hi,
In general, the Tax Credit payments would not cease until after the migration date even if they have not claimed Universal Credit.
If the payment has still not been received you will need to conatct our Tax Credit team for advice.

RE: working tax credits and retirement
Hi,
If you retire on 6th December then we will end your Tax Credit claim on 6th December.
If you decide to end employment prior to 6th December then you would need to tell us so we can end your Tax Credit.
If you decide not to retire on 6th December and you are still working then we would advise you to contact Universal Credit for advice.
