I rang the HMRC National Insurance phone number a week ago. It took 30 minutes of waiting because they are very busy. The person on the phone was helpful and said he could see my National Insurance account and that the money was in it. He said it could be up to eight weeks. But, I wish HMRC would post on their National Insurance webpage how much time people who pay on line will be waiting as it still say 3 to 5 days. That's why I am a little worried. -
National Insurance Records - not updated
I paid on line, from the HMRC website, for some years of National Insurance on March 5th (2025). My records have not been updated and its three weeks later. It is supposed to only take 3 to 5 days according to the receipt. Does anyone else have this problem? Thanks in advance.
