I have the same query and the response from 'HMRC Admin 20 Response' doesn't clearly answer the question. There are two sets of questions on the form on the HMRC website: Question set 1: 'Did you pay anything before tax, towards the car?' and then if yes: 'How much did you pay before tax. towards the car' Question set 2: 'Do you pay anything before tax to your employer for private use of the car?' and then if yes: 'How much? Per week/per month' If I didn't pay any lump sum towards the car, but I pay an amount X before tax through salary sacrifice each month, in response to which question to I provide amount X? The car is for social and commuting purposes.
