  • When will the Paper Partnership Tax Returns be sent out?

    Hi, I have recently received a letter suggesting I fill in my Tax Return early rather than later. However, before I can do so, I would like to complete our Partnership Return. Can you please advise on when these will be sent out? Thanks in advance.

    Hi, In September, I posted a paper partnership tax return to the following address (on advice from a phone call to HMRC): PAYE & Self-Assessment HM Revenue and Customs BX91AS UK As of last week (according to a phone call to HMRC), it hadn't arrived. I suspect it got lost because of strike action. So I checked the delivery address via a phone call to HMRC (confirmed as the right one) and I sent a second copy this week via the Royal Mail 'first class signed for' service. Three days on, it still hasn't been delivered because of strike action. There is a deadline of the end of October to register the return and I am running out of time. Given there is no online option to post a return unless I buy software, can I email HMRC a copy and what will happen if the paper copies still don't arrive by the end of the month? By the way, for feedback, the return address box is blank on the downloadable version of the SA800 Partnership Return form, and as far as I can see, it is not included in the supporting help documentation nor the supporting web pages. Thanks in advance.
  • How and where do I enter my bank details for a pending tax refund?

    I submitted a tax return several days ago and am due a refund. I opted out of a rebate through PAYE but I was not asked for my bank details as has been in the case in the past. I have waited several days as instructed (72 hours?) before logging back in via the Gateway and although the repayment is showing (as 'Not yet used' under the 'Allocated' column?), I have not been asked for my bank details nor additional security information in order to make the refund and I cannot see how or where to enter it either. Can someone please advise?

    I submitted a tax return several days ago and am due a refund. I was also not asked for my bank details as I have been in the past. As per the instructions given to the earlier poster, I have waited several days and logged back in. However, I have not been asked for my bank details nor additional security information in order to make the refund and I cannot see how to request it either.
