Only became aware of this because of a YouTube video talking about tax codes. Separated from partner over two years but not divorced/legal separated I still the M on my tax code for marriage allowance I'm planning on removing it on the 6th April I didn't realise it was still there and I'm now worried I owe backdated tax because of it. Is this the case? I feel such a idiot for not having it removed ages ago. Thanks

Hi So I checked my estimated income for next year and it's way lower than what it should be due to a pay rise. Do I need to worry? Will HMRC see the pay rise and adjust the figures accordingly? I was tempted to adjust them myself but not money savvy , plus my pension is through salary sacrifice which I believe affects the figures. I'm getting myself in a panic , last thing I need is a huge tax bill Thanks all
