RE: Amazon Nightmare
Hi Avongirl78 Hulme,
If you are not VAT registered then unfortunately there is nothing we can send out to you.
I am assuming that Amazon want to see evidence that you are in business so that they do not charge you the VAT.
If the marketplace do want evidence of you being in business I would recommending contacting them to see what else you could provide to them for their satisfaction.
Thank you. -
RE: Uploading Invoices onto a customers system
Hi Colin Wallace,
If the company is VAT registered and are charging this fee, possibly an admin fee, then it would be a taxable supply and hence VAT charged on the fee.

It is for you to decide on what is better for your individual financial circumstances as to whether to end the Tax Credits claim or not. You should speak with both Universal Credit and Tax Credits to consider the impacts before making a decision.
If you want to end your Tax Credits claim, there is guidance on how to do this here-:, End your tax credits.

RE: Probate & capital gains tax
Hi Woodend,
Probate value is normally the base cost for working out if any capital gains is due. In some cases, it may be possible to amend the probate value if there is evidence
to suggest that the initial valuation was incorrect.
This can involve providing supporting documentation and professional property valuations to demonstrate the true market value of the house.
You would need to take this matter up with probate and IHT.
However, if the porpoerty has been sold you will need to use the initial probate value to meet the requirement of reporting and paying within 60 days.

RE: Declaring Interest From Inheritance
Hi gk1980,
You can provide an estimate of the interest if you know it, but can declare it at the end of the year when we ask you to renew their claim.
Depending on the increase in income it could affect their entitlement.
Further information can be found on gov.uk. Working out your income for tax credit claims and renewals Other income
Thank you.
