    I was a director of a business that closed (via administration) in February 2024. I lost £10k that I had invested as shares; I never took any bonus or dividend from the business. I have never been a director or investor in any other business before or after this. I am back in work as an employee. Am I able to offset the lost £10k against PAYE tax that I have been paying?
