RE: 18 Digit Reference for payments
Hi - I also need to get an 18 digit number to make a voluntary Class 3 and I'm also not overseas..
I have repeatedly tried the helpline but to no avail and bounced back and forth between HMRC, DWP websites etc but made absolutely zero progress to date.
I don't have a letter from HMRC, because I observed the shortfall myself while checking my N.I record on my Government Gateway account - can anyone please confirm that my Reference No would be QQ123456AICHOLLAND ? And what is does the IC part mean..
