Hi, I am very curious about this result, as I have the same issue and I haven't received any letter from HMRC regarding VAT delay. In my case, my estimated payment date is 25 Nov 2023 but no answers, no repayment yet.

Hi, we are UK limited company and report VAT return quarterly. We reported and submitted July23-Sep23 VAT return on 26Oct2023 and it was £131k to be repaid from HMRC. Our VAT account online says 'it is delayed and the estimate repayment date will be Nov23'. However, we haven't received this repayment yet. I contacted 0300 322 7075 following the instruction on HMRC VAT website but they just give us general answers, like AI services and no chance to talk with humans. There was another contact number: 0300 322 7075 and I could talk with advisors, but they couldn't even investigate our account further and they only could see 'processing'. It's been almost 6months and we really want to know when they are going to repay us. Is there any other way I could ask?
