RE: S1 for living abroad
I'm trying to advise a French family who are likely to be relocated to France for employment purposes while remaining employed by a Uk entity. Is the S1 form only for "UK national" or does it cover "UK employees, please? Also, is S1 form conditional on paying UK National Insurance, as my only other experience is of a UK national working in France who was given an "X" national insurance code and therefore doesn't pay UK NI. Thanks for any help.
