RE: New Agent Account Service Registration
I have agent services account - I completed the enrolment for VAT agent services 3 weeks ago online. I have logged into my ASA and there is no service available, no log of the enrolment or application. I have tried to resubmit the enrolment forms online today, however I keep getting a message saying 'there's a problem' either the details are incorrect (which they are not) or I have already applied for the tax or scheme. I have spent several hours scouring the internet and .gov guidance, several phone calls to VAT, to online services and in the end no one can help me because they have no control over agent maintenance and in fact don't even have a direct contact for someone in that department. Please can this be resolved or someone escalate it, as it is impact on my clients. I don't understand, why there is no internal controls or flags to assist someone in this instance.
