High Income Child Benefit Tax Charge - No Section to enter pension contributions
Hi RaulDuke,
On the Tailor your return section on the online Self Assessment tax return, please answer "YES" to the question which asks about payments made to pension schemes.

When you are completing the return there is a question which asks if you received UK interest.

Yes to A and BA
Also if tax was deducted from this income, it should also be shown in SA106 (foreign) so that a tax credit can be claimed.
Overseas capital gains is shown on SA106 (capital gains) and if overseas tax is paid on the gains, you would also declare the gains including tax on SA106 (foreign) which would allow you to claim foreign tax credit relief.

RE: Self Assessment Tax Due Calculation - does not include tax already paid in relevant tax year
Hi Fred1955,
You will need to tailor your online tax return to include your PAYE income.
PAYE tax deducted from your employment income is entered in Box 2 of the 'Employment' pages (SA102)
This will then flow through to your Self Assessment calculation.
