  • RE: Which country do I pay tax in?

I am from the UK, my wife is from Slovakia and has residency and employment in Gent. I moved to Belgium mid April 2024. I have an orange card and I am currently waiting for my residency card that should arrive in December based on my right to reside alongside my EU wife in the host country she is employed in. I am self employed in the UK, I own an online shop as well as providing customer service remotely to a company (still as self employed). I will only be offering services / trading within the UK. I only work remotely from Belgium. Do I need to register as self employed in Belgium if I will only be trading within the UK? I will be physically located in Belgium while working, but I will not be offering services to Belgium companies / customers. I believe I am a tax resident in Belgium but I am not registered, I am in process of doing this but trying to understand how this works.
