Hi, I am from Iran and have lived in the UK for 7 years. I don't have permanent residency and I am in UK with a skilled worker visa . I am an employee and pay taxes in the UK. My parents are going to send me around £10,000 as a gift to my English bank account to help me with living costs. Are there any restrictions for the money transfer since my parents live in Iran? And, do I need to declare and pay taxes on such amounts? Thank you so much, in advance
