Sorry, I do not really understand what you mean. As Hong Kong Pension is a foreign income, do I need to declare the pension income on the 'Foreign Page' and claim 'Foreign Tax Credit Relief', state the reason of the claim on the comment/remark. Thank you for your advice. -
Should monthly pension be reported - Retied HK Civil Servant
I am a retired civil servant (Hong Kong) and receiving a monthly pension. To my understanding, this part of income is not taxable in the UK according to the double taxation agreement between the two countries. Someone told me that I still need to report this income on the self-assessment form. Is it correct? If yes, where should I put this information in the form? Thank you.
