RE: Bank Details for Tax Refund
Dear HMRC, I hope this email finds you well. I would like to clarify whether the tax refund will be paid by bank transfer or by cheque. I currently live outside the UK and will not be able to receive the letter if the tax refund is sent by post. During the process, I was asked for my account number, which I provided. To my surprise, there is information in my Personal Tax Account stating, "It can take up to 3 weeks for your cheque to arrive." Could you please advise me on what I should do in this situation?
