  • RE: P45 Issue

Hi please can somebody urgently help me about this. To be as brief as I can, I worked with a company for 3 months who deducted tax from my wage however never submitted this tax to HMRC. They never even posted any information about me working for them. I called them out on this and reported it. They have since submitted false information that they paid me £9000 in 6 months. I did not even work for them for 6 months and I received nearly 3x less than that sum. As this has put me above the tax threshold, HMRC think I have underpaid them. As this company has also not given me a P45, I am getting emergency taxed currently and as HMRC believe I have underpaid them in tax due to the false £9000 sum my old company have given, I will not be able to claim this back unless it is rectified within this month. The company have been called out on this and keep claiming they are going to send me a P45 but haven’t. I do not believe they will until somebody from HMRC contacts them. I have spoke to numerous departments to try get my P45, update my actual correct PAYE summary of the year, and be able to claim back the tax I am owed rather than HMRC thinking I owe them. Please will somebody contact me and contact this company to tell them to send my correct P45. I am begging.
