Importing Personal effects using 1PF apc

Hi. I have a query regarding the additional statements and codes needed to effectively use APC 1PF (personal goos under £630). The goods come under various HS codes including one at 12% duty which ultimately I would like to bring in under the flat 2.5% duty which is allowed under 1PF. If anyone can offer advice as to what goes in Data Elements 2/2 and 2/3 to support the code I would be grateful. I have read through all the guidelines offered by HMRC by just can't get it to work.
