I left the UK in 2004. Between 1989 and 2004 I was employed full time and made the appropriate contributions through my employer. Some years after leaving the UK, I made a voluntary contribution for the prior 6 years, by sending money from my bank account (first direct). I never got any confirmation that this arrived. I just checked my record and EVERY YEAR since 1989 says it is not full. What is going on? I am in HK, have no access to any paperwork for that far back - but they have nothing for me? What do I do now?

Hi,
I am sorry to hear about the gaps in your record and can imagine this would have been quite a shock to you.
For any dispute of gaps this must be done by writing into a Caseworker.
Please find the address below:
Individual Caseworker
PT Operations North East England
HM Revenue & Customs
BX9 1AN
You must supply the Caseworker with the following information:
•    the date you started and stopped paying voluntary contributions
•    the amount of voluntary contributions paid
•    the method of payment (e.g. cheque, at post office or online)
•    whether the payment has been taken from your bank account
•    all employer details which should include employers name and address, the customers staff/payroll number (if known) and the tax year the earnings are missing from.
•    evidence of your earnings during the period for example pay slips, P45 or P60 certificates (If available)
•    your personal details
•    your signature
Thank you.

Hi, my record seems to be wrong too. I claimed Child Benefit as soon as I had my daughter in 2018 but I don't seem to have received pension credits for it? Is there someone I can contact to get this sorted? I csnt afford to make up the voluntary payments and I'm really worried about my future.
