Hi, I filled in the U1 on the 27th of September 2023, in the HMRC app it says the form is completed but I haven't received anything via email or post. I am in pain now and I need the form to claim unemployment benefits. I have read that you need to tick the box to receive the U1 statement but in my customer copy, there is no such a thing I can check. Can you please advice? Thank you

Sorry for the delay in processing your request for a U1.
If you sent your request by post, our International Team are currently dealing with queries received on 28 February 2023 so there will be about a 43 week delay from the date that we received your request until you get a reply unfortunately.
If you sent your request for a U1 online then you should now have it – may I ask that you call our National Insurance Helpline on 0300 200 3500 (from the UK) or +44 191 2037010 (from overseas) and they will be able to arrange for a copy to be sent to you.
