Hello, I moved to the UK in 2018 and have been paying NI contributions through my employment since then. I would like to increase the number of years taken into account for my state pension by voluntary contributing for years 2016-17 and 17-18. Is it possible? Thank you for your insight.

Hi,
It is only possible to pay voluntary National Insurance contributions for the tax year in which you were registered into the UK National Insurance scheme.
If you would like to discuss this then please call our National Insurance Helpline on 0300 200 3500 and they will help you further.
Thank you.
