Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing to address the gaps in my national insurance contributions during my time living in Auroville, India. Auroville is an intentional community with residents from around 60 different countries and holds a unique status under the Ministry of Education of the Government of India. As a volunteer in Auroville, I do not receive any income. I had submitted a form for voluntary contributions. However, I received a letter requesting information about my income. I am not employed, nor do I hold the status of a development worker sent by any charity organization. Could you please advise on how I should proceed given my circumstances? Could I came any credit? I will appreciate any reply.

Hi
As you have advised that you have received a reply from us about your application to pay voluntary National Insurance contributions, may I ask that you send a
letter back to include details that you are a volunteer and our National Insurance International Team will be able to help you further.
Thank you.
