I have just spent 3 hours trying to speak to employer helpline. First time was a wait of 35 minutes, 10 minutes on call and then was cut off Second time was a wait of 30 minutes, 5 minutes on call and then cut off Third time was a wait of 50 minutes, 2 minutes on call and problems with phone line at HMRC end and cut off How are we meant to clear up PAYE problems if we are unable to speak on the phone

I can only apologise if you are having difficulting getting through to an adviser on the Employer Helpline.
Unfortunately, the phone lines can be busy. you will need to keep trying if you wish to speak with an adviser over the phone.
Alternatively, you can also speak to an adviser via webchat. You can find the Employer Helpline contact channels here: Employers: general enquiries

Have you noticed. if you wish to complain they don't display it, to make themselves look good. Still an appalling service
